2006 was another great year for Catawba Salkehatchie. Our 60 campers worked for 7 different families where we shared God's love, that never fails, and repaired physical structures that eventually always fail. God sent each one of you to Catawba with a plan; for some it was to minister to others, for others it was to receive ministry.

Letting Go was this year's theme and we experienced many examples throughout the week of things we needed to let go of as well as helped our families let go of cares and burdens surrounding their needed home repairs. Our wheel symbol, with it's burned in cross, helped us to see that we can leave those cares on the cross of Jesus. Taking our wheels off the cross during Communion on Friday was a reminder that Jesus carried them all week without our help.

All of the staff at Catawba would like to say a special thank you to
each camper for your smile, willingness to serve, co-operation during the week and especially for sharing Christ with our families through your hard work. Each of you truly were on a sacred mission.
