2007 was a special year for the Catawba Camp and for Salkehatchie as a whole.  We celebrated 10 years of service at Catawba this year while Salkehatchie celebrated 30 years.  It is hard to imagine the number of lives that have been touched through this Ministry, God surely had a plan when he gave John Culp the idea.

John visited our 58 campers at Catawba this year and retold the story of how it all started.  He emphasized the importance of servanthood and encouraging our young people to be in ministry with those who are less fortunate.  Surely as we go forward and continue to see the number of camps growing in SC, and now in NC and GA, God will continue to bless those who are in need.

Our theme for this year was "Full Circle" as we celebrated 10 years of service.  Each camper received an arm band with a specific color for their home family site.  This was a reminder that like God's love the circle never ends.  Seeds planted this week will grow and continue to bear fruit long after we have moved on.

Thank you for participating in Ministry with us and the greater Indian Land and Fort Mill Community.  Your sharing in love and fellowship is always an inspiration to all those with whom you come in contact.
